Website design & development in Guyana.

TG Media Designs is a website design and development studio in Georgetown. We design the site, write the code, set up the domain and hosting, and stay on WhatsApp after it goes live. You deal with one person from the first message to launch day: Damethri George, who designs it, builds it and answers your messages.

Built for how Guyana actually buys

Most of your customers will find you on their phone. Many will want to message you before they pay. Some will be in New York or Toronto, buying something for family back home. A good Guyanese business website has to handle all three, and that's what we design for.

What you get with a TG Media website

  • A custom design made for your business, not a template with your logo dropped in.
  • Built for the phone first, and fast on mobile data.
  • WhatsApp on every screen, with the message already written, so an enquiry takes one tap.
  • The next step made obvious: book a viewing, reserve a slot, order, or call.
  • Set up to be found: page titles, descriptions, Google-readable business details, a sitemap, and Google Search Console on launch day.
  • Domain, hosting and business email set up for you.
  • Optional extras when the job needs them: bookings, online payments, an AI assistant that answers questions after hours, or a dashboard for your staff.

Our websites are custom-coded, with a proper back end when the job needs one. That's why they load quickly and don't break when a plugin updates.

How a website project runs

  1. You message us. WhatsApp +592 714-4912 or email info@tgmediadesigns.com. Tell us what the business does and what the website should get people to do.
  2. Discovery. What the site has to achieve and who it's talking to, written down so we both agree. You get a written quote.
  3. Design. A clickable version you can react to on your own phone, while changes are still cheap.
  4. Build. The real thing on a preview link you can open any time, with WhatsApp, forms, bookings or payments connected and tested on real phones.
  5. Launch. Domain, analytics, Google Search Console, handover, and a walkthrough so you can update it yourself.

What a website costs in Guyana

Every project gets its own quote, because a five-page site for a consultancy and a store with 300 products are different jobs. What moves the price: how many pages, whether you're selling or taking bookings, payments, who writes the words and takes the photos, and whether you need a back office behind the site. Outside Georgetown, or outside Guyana?

Location doesn't matter. Everything runs on WhatsApp, email and video calls, so we work with businesses in Berbice, Essequibo, Linden and the interior the same way we work with the ones on Regent Street. We also build for Caribbean and diaspora businesses: Savor The Islands, a Caribbean food and culture festival in Brooklyn, runs on a site we built.

FAQ

Questions people ask.

Straight answers. Anything else, ask on WhatsApp.

I already have a Facebook page. Do I need a website?

Facebook is good for being seen, but you don't control it: the feed decides who sees your posts, and someone searching Google for what you sell usually won't land on a Facebook page. A website comes up in Google, takes bookings and orders at 2am, and makes the business look established. Keep the page, and point it at the website.

Will my website show up on Google?

We build every site so Google can read it properly: clear page titles, descriptions, business details in structured data, a sitemap and fast mobile loading, and we submit it to Google Search Console at launch. Ranking for competitive searches also depends on your Google Business Profile, reviews and time, and we'll show you how to handle those.

Do you work with businesses outside Georgetown?

Yes. We work with businesses anywhere in Guyana, the Caribbean and the diaspora. Everything runs through WhatsApp, email and video calls, so you never have to come into town.

Who looks after the website after it launches?

We do, if you want us to. Ongoing maintenance is available, and small questions after launch go through WhatsApp. If you'd rather manage it yourself, we walk you through updating it and hand over every login.

Can you set up my domain, hosting and business email?

Yes. We set up the domain (.com or .gy), hosting and business email, so you get an address like you@yourbusiness.com. Renewals are listed in your quote, so there are no surprise bills.

How long does a website take to build?

A typical business website takes about two weeks. Bigger builds take longer, and the most common cause of delay is waiting on content (words, photos, prices), so we help you get it ready early. Your quote comes with the plan in writing.
